I’ve been getting info about a driver plowing into a parade in Gallup, NM during the Ceremonial that was taking place. Nothing is very clear yet (maybe gun shots as well?), but please pray for our people.
I almost…. went to tonight’s parade. I woke up from a nap with messages from friends thinking I was downtown. From what I heard, someone drove through the intertribal ceremonial parade then crashed into a local business. Idk of injuries but check on your loved ones.

Gallup is a small town in New Mexico on historic Route 66. To the east, red sandstone cliffs dominate Red Rock Park, home to the Anasazi archaeological site dating back to around 300 AD. Here, the Red Rock Museum focuses on the Anasazi heritage, displaying pottery and silver. In town, the Gallup Cultural Center features Native American artifacts and cultural exhibits. The Rex Museum covers local history, including railroads and mining.
